Did anyone have a problem with Lola? I found myself disliking her, not in an objective way, but emotionally, maybe as though I wanted to keep my distance from her. As I write this I realize that she's probably a well-constructed character but showed so much vulnerable craziness that I couldn't get too close. She is not someone I would have wanted to get to know in real life.

I'd like to know how others reacted to her.

My own reaction was very close to yours. She struck me as having a groupie mentality. A complete ditz.
